신명기 23-28장

Chapter 23

• 1-8 총회에 들어 갈 수 없는 사람들 (Exclusion From the Assembly)

  3.	No Ammonite or Moabite or any of his descendants may enter the assembly of the LORD, even down to the tenth generation 암몬 사람이나 모압 사람이나 그 자손들은 10대까지도 여호와의 총회에 들어올 수 없다

• 9-14 진영 안의 부정한 것 (Uncleanness in the Camp)

  14.

  For the LORD your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you.너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희를 보호하고 너희 원수들을 너희에게 넘겨주려고 너희 진영 안에서 다니시기 때문이다. 너희 진영을 거룩하게 해 그분이 너희 가운데서 불결한 것을 보고 떠나지 않으시도록 하라

  19.	Do not charge your brother interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest.네 형제에게 꾸어 주고 이자를 받지 마라. 돈이든 양식이든 꾸어 주는 어떠한 것의 이자도 받지 마라.

Chapter 24

• 1-4 이혼과 재혼

  1.	If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house,만약 한 남자가 어떤 여자와 결혼했는데 그가 여자에게서 부끄러움이 되는 일을 알게 돼 마음으로 싫어지게 되면 그는 이혼증서를 써서 그 여자에게 주고 자기 집에서 내보내야 한다.

  19.

  When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.네가 네 밭에서 추수할 때 들에서 곡식 한 단을 잊어버렸거든 그것을 가지러 돌아가지 마라. 그것은 이방 사람이나 고아나 과부를 위한 것이 될 것이다. 그러면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 손으로 하는 모든 일에 복 주실 것이다.

Chapter 25

• 1-4 기타 규정

  1.	When men have a dispute, they are to take it to court and the judges will decide the case, acquitting the innocent and condemning the guilty.사람들끼리 말싸움이 붙었을 때 법정으로 데리고 가거라. 그러면 재판관들이 그 문제를 판결해 죄 없는 사람은 석방하고 죄지은 사람은 정죄할 것이다.

• 5-10 죽은 형제에 대한 의무

  5.

  If brothers are living together and one of them dies without a son, his widow must not marry outside the family. Her husband's brother shall take her and marry her and fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to her.형제들이 함께 살다가 하나가 아들 없이 죽었으면 죽은 이의 과부는 나가서 다른 사람과 결혼하지 말라. 그 남편의 형제가 그녀를 데려가 결혼해 형제로서의 의무를 다하여라.

• 11-16 다른 법

  13.	Do not have two differing weights in your bag -- one heavy, one light.

  네 가방에 서로 다른 저울 추, 곧 큰 것과 작은 것을 넣지 마라
• 17-19 아말렉에 대한 기억을 지워버리라

  19.

  When the LORD your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로 주시는 그 땅에서 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 주변의 모든 원수들로부터 벗어나 네게 안식을 주실 때 너는 하늘 아래에서 아말렉을 기억하는 일조차 없도록 그들을 모조리 없애 버려라. 잊지 마라!”

Chapter 26

• 1-15 첫 열매와 십일조에 관한 말씀 (Firstfruits and Tithes)

  11.	And you and the Levites and the aliens among you shall rejoice in all the good things the LORD your God has given to you and your household.그리고 너와 너희 가운데 있는 레위 사람들과 이방 사람들까지 네 하나님 여호와께서 너와 네 집안에 주신 그 모든 좋은 것들을 즐거워하라.

• 16-19 여호와의 명령을 따르라 (Follow the Lord’s Commands)

  16.	The LORD your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.“네 하나님 여호와께서 오늘 네게 이 규례와 법도를 따르라고 명령하신다. 삼가 네 온 마음과 네 온 영혼을 다해 그것을 지켜 행하여라.

Chapter 27

• 1-8  돌 위에 기록한 율법 (The Altar on Mount Ebal)

  3.

  Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.너희 조상들의 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 약속하신 대로 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 주시는 강 건너 그 땅, 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에 들어가면 이 율법의 모든 말씀들을 그 돌들 위에 적어 두라.

• 9-26 에발 산에서 선포한 저주 (Curses From Mount Ebal)

  12.	When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph and Benjamin.“너희가 요단 강을 건넌 뒤에 시므온, 레위, 유다, 잇사갈, 요셉, 베냐민 지파는 그리심 산에 서서 백성들을 축복해야 한다.

  13.	And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to pronounce curses: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan and Naphtali.그리고 르우벤, 갓, 아셀, 스불론, 단, 납달리 지파는 에발 산에 서서 저주를 선포해야 한다.

Chapter 28

• 1-14 순종할 때 받는 복 (Blessings for Obedience)

  1.	If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.“만약 네가 네 하나님 여호와께 온전히 순종하고 삼가 내가 오늘 네게 주는 그분의 모든 명령들을 따르면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 세상의 모든 민족들보다 높이 세우실 것이다.

• 15-68 불순종할 때 받는 저주 (Blessings for Obedience)

  15.	However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:그러나 만약 네가 네 하나님 여호와께 순종하지 않고 내가 오늘 네게 주는 그분의 모든 명령과 규례를 삼가 따르지 않으면 이 모든 저주들이 네게 닥쳐 너를 덮칠 것이다.
