- 1-29 새언약 (Renewal of the Covenant)
13. to confirm you this day as his people, that he may be your God as he promised you and as he swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.네게 맹세하셨던 대로 또 네 조상 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 맹세하셨던 대로 그분께서 오늘 너를 세워 백성으로 삼으시고 그분은 네 하나님이 되시려는 것이다.
Chapter 30
- 1-10 여호와께 돌아온 후의 번영 (Prosperity After Turning to the Lord)
9. Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your fathers,그러면 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희 손으로 하는 모든 일과 네 몸의 열매와 너희 가축들의 새끼들과 너희 땅의 열매를 풍족하게 하실 것이다. 여호와께서 너희 조상들을 기뻐하셨듯이 너희 번영으로 인해 다시 기뻐하실 것이다. - 11-20 생명과 죽음 (The Offer of Life or Death)
19. This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live오늘 내가 하늘과 땅을 증인으로 삼아 너희 앞에 생명과 죽음, 복과 저주를 두니 생명을 선택해 너희와 너희 자손들이 살고
Chapter 31
- 1-8 여호수아가 모세를 계승함 (Joshua to Succeed Moses)
7. Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance.모세가 여호수아를 불러 온 이스라엘 앞에서 그에게 말했다. “강하고 담대하여라. 너는 이 백성들과 함께 여호와께서 그들의 조상들에게 맹세해 그들에게 주시겠다고 하신 그 땅으로 가서 그들이 그 땅을 얻어 대대로 지켜 나가게 해야 할 것이다 - 9-13율법을 낭송함(Public Reading of the Law)
10. Then Moses commanded them: "At the end of every seven years, in the year for canceling debts, during the Feast of Tabernacles,그리고 모세가 그들에게 명령했습니다. '7년마다 빚을 탕감해 주는 해, 곧 장막절 동안 11. when all Israel comes to appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose, you shall read this law before them in their hearing.온 이스라엘이 그분이 선택하신 그 장소로 너희 하나님 여호와앞에 나오면 너희는 이 율법을 그들이 듣는 앞에서 읽도록 하라. - 14-30 이스라엘의 반역을 예견함 (Israel’s Rebellion Predicted)
16. And the LORD said to Moses: "You are going to rest with your fathers, and these people will soon prostitute themselves to the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake me and break the covenant I made with them.그때 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다. “너는 너희 선조들과 함께 잠들 것이지만 이 백성들은 그들이 들어갈 그 땅의 이방 신들과 음란한 짓을 할 것이다. 그들은 나를 버리고 내가 그들과 맺은 언약을 깰 것이다.
| 여호와께서 친히 네 앞서 가시고 너희와 함께하실 것이며 너를 떠나지도, 너를 버리지도 않으실 것이다. 두려워하지 말고 낙심하지 마라 |
Chapter 32
- 1-47 모세가 부른 노래
11. like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them on its pinions.그 사랑의 모습은 마치 독수리가 자기 둥지를 어지럽히고 자기 새끼 위를 맴돌다가 그 날개를 펴서 새끼들을 잡아 날개 끝에 얹는 것 같다. 46. he said to them, "Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law.그들에게 말했습니다. “내가 오늘 너희에게 진지하게 선포한 이 모든 말씀을 마음에 새겨서 너희가 너희 자녀들에게 명령해 삼가 이 모든 율법의 말씀을 지키게 하라. - 48-52 모세가 느보 산에서 죽음 (Moses to Die on Mount Nebo)
49. "Go up into the Abarim Range to Mount Nebo in Moab, across from Jericho, and view Canaan, the land I am giving the Israelites as their own possession. “일어나 아바림 산맥으로 들어가 여리고 건너편 모압의 느보 산으로 가서 내가 이스라엘 백성들에게 그 소유물로 주는 땅 가나안을 바라보아라. 50. There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people.네 형 아론이 호르 산에서 죽어 네 선조들에게로 돌아간 것같이 네가 올라가는 산에서 죽어 네 선조들에게로 돌아갈 것이다.
Chapter 33
- 1-29 모세가 각 지파를 축복함 (Moses Blesses the Tribes)
27. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, `Destroy him!'영원한 하나님이 네 피난처니 그 영원한 팔이 네 아래 있구나. 그분이 네 원수를 네 앞에서 쫓아내며 ‘그를 멸망시켜라!’ 하실 것이다. 28. So Israel will live in safety alone; Jacob's spring is secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew.그러면 이스라엘이 홀로 안전하게 살게 될 것이다. 하늘에서 이슬이 떨어지는 곡식과 새 포도주가 있는 땅에서 야곱의 샘이 안전하구나. 29. Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will trample down their high places."이스라엘아, 너는 행복하다. 여호와께서 구원하신 민족인 너 같은 자가 누구겠느냐? 그분은 네 방패이며 도우시는 분이고 네 영광스러운 칼이시다. 네 원수들이 네 앞에서 움츠리고 너는 그들의 높은 곳을 발로 밟을 것이다
Chapter 34
- 1-12 모세가 죽음 (The Death of Moses)
4. Then the LORD said to him, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, `I will give it to your descendants.' I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it. 여호와께서 그에게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 이 땅이 내가 네 자손들에게 주겠다고 맹세로 약속한 땅이다. 내가 네 눈으로 보도록 했으나 너는 강 건너 그 땅으로 들어가지는 못할 것이다
그러자 여호와의 종 모세는 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 거기 모압 땅에서 죽어5. And Moses the servant of the LORD died there in Moab, as the LORD had said.
