Through Macedonia and Greece

20 When the uproar had ended, Paul sent for the disciples and, after encouraging them, said goodbye and set out for Macedonia. 소동이 끝나자 바울은 제자들을 불러 격려한 뒤 작별하고 마케도니아 지방으로 떠났습니다.2 He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people, and finally arrived in Greece,그는 그 지방을 두루 다니면서 사람들에게 많은 격려의 말을 해 주었고 마침내 그리스에 도착해 3 where he stayed three months. Because some Jews had plotted against him just as he was about to sail for Syria, he decided to go back through Macedonia.그곳에서 석 달 동안 머물렀습니다. 그는 거기서 배를 타고 시리아로 가려고 했는데 유대 사람들이 그를 해치려는 음모를 꾸미자 마케도니아를 거쳐 시리아로 돌아가기로 결심했습니다. 4 He was accompanied by Sopater son of Pyrrhus from Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus from Thessalonica, Gaius from Derbe, Timothyalso, and Tychicus and Trophimus from the province of Asia. 바울과 동행한 사람은 베뢰아 사람 부로의 아들 소바더, 데살로니가 사람 아리스다고와 세군도, 더베 사람 가이오, 디모데, 아시아 사람인 두기고와 드로비모였습니다.5 These men went on ahead and waited for us at Troas.이 사람들은 먼저 드로아에 가서 우리를 기다리고 있었습니다. 6 But we sailed from Philippi after the Festival of Unleavened Bread, and five days later joined the others at Troas,where we stayed seven days.그러나 우리는 무교절 후 빌립보에서 배를 타고 떠나 5일이 지나서야 드로아에서 다른 일행과 합류하게 됐습니다. 그곳에서 우리는 7일을 지냈습니다.

7 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. 안식 후 첫날에 우리는 빵을 떼기 위해 모였습니다. 바울이 사람들에게 말씀을 전했는데 그는 다음 날 떠날 예정이었기 때문에 강론은 한밤중까지 계속됐습니다.8 There were many lamps in the upstairs room where we were meeting.우리가 모여 있는 다락방에는 등불이 많이 켜져 있었습니다. 9 Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead. 유두고라는 청년이 창가에 앉아 있다가 바울이 쉬지 않고 이야기하는 바람에 깊이 잠이 들었습니다. 곯아떨어진 그는 그만 3층에서 떨어지고 말았습니다. 일으켜 보니 그는 이미 죽어 있었습니다.10 Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “He’s alive!” 바울이 뛰어 내려가 유두고 위에 엎드려 그를 껴안고 말했습니다. “소란 피우지 마시오. 그에게 목숨이 있소.11 Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. 그러더니 바울은 다시 위층으로 올라가 빵을 떼어 먹은 후 날이 샐 때까지 오랫동안 강론을 하고서 떠났습니다12 The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.사람들은 살아난 청년을 집으로 데려가 많은 위로를 받았습니다.

The Riot in Ephesus

23 About that time there arose a great disturbance about the Way.그 무렵 에베소에서는 복음의 말씀 때문에 큰 소동이 일어났습니다. 24 A silversmith named Demetrius, who made silver shrines of Artemis, brought in a lot of business for the craftsmen there.데메드리오라는 은세공업자는 아데미 여신의 은 모형을 만드는 사람이었는데 직공들에게 적지 않은 돈벌이를 제공해 주고 있었습니다. 25 He called them together, along with the workers in related trades, and said: “You know, my friends, that we receive a good income from this business. 그가 직공들은 물론 이 일에 관련된 일꾼들을 불러 모아 놓고 말했습니다. “여러분, 여러분도 알다시피 우리가 이 사업으로 소득이 꽤 좋았습니다.26 And you see and hear how this fellow Paul has convinced and led astray large numbers of people here in Ephesus and in practically the whole province of Asia. He says that gods made by human hands are no gods at all. 그런데 여러분도 보고 들은 대로 바울이라는 이 사람이 여기 에베소뿐 아니라 아시아 온 지방에서 ‘사람이 만든 신은 신이 아니다’라며 많은 사람들을 설득해 마음을 돌려놓고 있습니다27 There is danger not only that our trade will lose its good name, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be discredited; and the goddess herself, who is worshiped throughout the province of Asia and the world, will be robbed of her divine majesty.”이렇게 되면 우리 사업의 명성이 떨어질 뿐 아니라 위대한 여신 아데미 신전의 명예도 실추되고 아시아 지방과 전 세계에 걸쳐 숭배되고 있는 이 여신 자체도 그 신성한 위엄을 잃을지도 모르는 위험이 있습니다.”
28 When they heard this, they were furious and began shouting: “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!” 그들이 이 말을 듣자 화가 치밀어 올라 “에베소 사람들의 아데미 여신은 위대하다!” 하고 소리 높였습니다29 Soon the whole city was in an uproar. The people seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Paul’s traveling companions from Macedonia, and all of them rushed into the theater together. 그러자 도시는 순식간에 온통 소란스러워졌고 사람들은 마케도니아에서부터 바울과 동행한 가이오와 아리스다고를 붙잡아 일제히 연극장 안으로 몰려 들어갔습니다.30 Paul wanted to appear before the crowd, but the disciples would not let him. 바울이 사람들 앞에 나서려고 했지만 제자들이 말렸습니다.31 Even some of the officials of the province, friends of Paul, sent him a message begging him not to venture into the theater.바울의 친구인 그 지방의 관리들도 사람을 보내 바울더러 위험을 무릅쓰고 연극장 안으로 들어가지 말라고 간곡히 권했습니다.
32 The assembly was in confusion: Some were shouting one thing, some another.Most of the people did not even know why they were there.연극장 안에서 어떤 사람은 이 말을 하고 또 다른 사람은 저 말을 하는 통에 모인 곳은 매우 혼란스럽게 됐습니다. 심지어 자기들이 왜 그곳에 모였는지 모르는 사람들도 대부분이었습니다. 33 The Jews in the crowd pushed Alexander to the front, and they shouted instructions to him. He motioned for silence in order to make a defense before the people. 유대 사람들이 군중 가운데서 알렉산더를 앞으로 밀어냈습니다. 그러자 그는 조용히 하라고 손짓하고 사람들 앞에서 변호하려고 했습니다.34 But when they realized he was a Jew, they all shouted in unison for about two hours: “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”그러나 그가 유대 사람임을 알아챈 그들은 모두 한 목소리로 “에베소 사람들의 아데미 여신은 위대하다!”라며 두 시간 동안이나 외쳐 댔습니다.
35 The city clerk quieted the crowd and said: “Fellow Ephesians, doesn’t all the world know that the city of Ephesus is the guardian of the temple of the great Artemis and of her image, which fell from heaven?마침내 에베소 시청 서기관이 사람들을 진정시키고 말했습니다. “에베소 시민들이여, 이 에베소 도시가 위대한 아데미의 신전과 하늘에서 내려온 그 신상을 지키고 있는 것을 온 세상이 다 알지 않습니까? 36 Therefore, since these facts are undeniable, you ought to calm down and not do anything rash.이것은 부인할 수 없는 사실이므로 이제 여러분은 진정하고 경솔한 행동을 삼가야 합니다. 37 You have brought these men here, though they have neither robbed temples nor blasphemed our goddess.여러분은 이 사람들이 신전 물건을 도둑질하거나 우리 여신을 모독한 것도 아닌데 이곳으로 끌고 왔습니다 38 If, then, Demetrius and his fellow craftsmen have a grievance against anybody, the courts are open and there are proconsuls. They can press charges. 그러므로 데메드리오와 그 동료 직공들은 누구를 고소할 일이 있다면 법정이 열려 있고 거기 총독들도 있으니 거기서 고소하면 될 것입니다.39 If there is anything further you want to bring up, it must be settled in a legal assembly. 그 밖에 여러분이 제기하고 싶은 문제가 더 있다면 그것은 정식 집회에서 해결해야 할 것입니다.40 As it is, we are in danger of being charged with rioting because of what happened today. In that case we would not be able to account for this commotion, since there is no reason for it.” 오늘 일로 인해 우리는 소란죄로 고소당할 위험이 있습니다. 그럴 경우에 우리가 이유 없이 일어난 이 소동에 대해 해명할 길이 없을 것입니다.”41 After he had said this, he dismissed the assembly.그는 이렇게 말한 뒤 그 집회를 해산시켰습니다.

11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 하나님께서는 바울의 손을 통해 특별한 기적을 일으키셨습니다.12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.바울의 몸에 닿은 손수건이나 앞치마를 가져다 환자들에게 대기만 하면 그들의 병이 낫고 악한 영들이 떠나갔습니다.
13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.”사방을 돌아다니며 귀신을 쫓아내는 유대 사람들 가운데 어떤 이들도 주 예수의 이름으로 악한 영들을 쫓아내려고 했습니다. 그들은 “바울이 전파하는 예수를 힘입어 내가 너희에게 명령한다”라고 말했습니다 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.유대 사람 대제사장 스게와의 일곱 아들도 이런 일을 했습니다. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”그러자 그 악한 영이 그들에게 대답했습니다. “내가 예수를 알고 바울도 안다. 그런데 너희는 누구냐?”16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.그러고는 그 악한 영에 빠진 사람이 그들에게 달려들어 그들 전부를 힘으로 눌러 이겼습니다. 그러자 그들이 발가벗겨진 채 피를 흘리며 집 밖으로 도망쳐 나왔습니다.
17 When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.이 사실을 알게 된 에베소에 사는 유대 사람들과 그리스 사람들이 모두 두려움에 사로잡혔고 주 예수의 이름을 높였습니다.18 Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done. 믿게 된 사람들이 많이 나와 자신의 악한 행위들을 고백하고 공개했습니다.19 A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.마술을 하던 많은 사람들은 그 책들을 모아다 사람들이 보는 앞에서 태워 버렸습니다. 그들이 그 마술책들의 값을 매겨 보니 모두 5만 드라크마 정도가 됐습니다.[c] 20 In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.이렇게 해서 주의 말씀은 점점 힘 있게 퍼져 나갔습니다.
21 After all this had happened, Paul decided[d] to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. “After I have been there,” he said, “I must visit Rome also.”이런 모든 일이 일어난 뒤 바울은 마케도니아와 아가야 지방을 거쳐 예루살렘으로 가기로 결심하고 “내가 예루살렘을 방문한 후에 반드시 로마도 꼭 볼 것이다”라고 말했습니다. 22 He sent two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia, while he stayed in the province of Asia a little longer.그는 자신을 돕는 사람 가운데 디모데와 에라스도 두 사람을 마케도니아로 보내고 자신은 아시아 지방에 잠시 더 머물렀습니다.

힘이 되는 동역자, 말씀에 사로잡힌 전도자

18 After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth.이 일 후에 바울은 아테네를 떠나 고린도로 갔습니다. 2 There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them,그곳에서 그는 아굴라라는 유대 사람을 만났습니다. 그는 본도에서 출생한 사람인데 유대 사람들은 모두 로마를 떠나라는 글라우디오 황제의 칙령 때문에 얼마 전 자기 아내 브리스길라와 함께 이탈리아에서 내려온 것입니다. 바울은 그들을 찾아가 3 and because he was a tent maker as they were, he stayed and worked with them. 그들과 함께 일하며 지냈습니다. 바울도 그들과 마찬가지로 천막 만드는 일을 했기 때문입니다.4 Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.안식일이면 그는 회당에서 토론하며 유대 사람들과 그리스 사람들을 설득하고자 했습니다.
5 When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.실라와 디모데가 마케도니아에서 오자 바울은 말씀 전하는 데만 전념해 예수가 그리스도이심을 유대 사람들에게 증언했습니다. 6 But when they opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protestand said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”그러나 유대 사람들은 바울에게 대들며 욕설을 퍼부었습니다. 바울은 자기 옷의 먼지를 떨며 단호하게 그들에게 말했습니다. “여러분들이 멸망해도 그것은 여러분들의 책임입니다. 나는 이제 책임이 없습니다. 이제 나는 이방 사람들에게 가겠습니다.”
7 Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titius Justus, a worshiper of God.그러고 나서 바울은 회당을 떠나 디도 유스도라는 사람의 집으로 갔습니다. 그는 하나님을 경외하는 이방 사람인데 그의 집은 회당 바로 옆에 있었습니다. 8 Crispus, the synagogue leader, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard Paul believed and were baptized.회당장 그리스보와 그 온 집안이 주를 믿게 됐고 바울의 말을 들은 다른 많은 고린도 사람들도 믿고 세례를 받았습니다.

In Athens

16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. 아테네에서 그들을 기다리는 동안 바울은 그 도시가 우상으로 가득 찬 것을 보고 매우 격분했습니다.17 So he reasoned in the synagogue with both Jews and God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there. 그래서 그는 회당에서는 유대 사람들과 하나님을 경외하는 그리스 사람들과 또 시장에 나가서 날마다 우연히 만나는 사람들과 토론했습니다18 A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to debate with him. Some of them asked, “What is this babbler trying to say?” Others remarked, “He seems to be advocating foreign gods.” They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.에피쿠로스 철학자들과 스토아 철학자들도 바울과 변론을 했습니다. 그 가운데 몇 사람이 물었습니다. “이 말쟁이가 무슨 말을 하려는 것인가?” 또 다른 사람들은 “그가 외국의 다른 신들을 전하는 사람인가 보다”라고 했습니다. 그들이 이렇게 말한 것은 바울이 예수와 그 부활에 대한 복음을 전하고 있었기 때문입니다.19 Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him, “May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting? 그때 그들은 바울을 붙들어 아레오바고 광장으로 데려가 말했습니다. “당신이 소개하고 있는 이 새로운 가르침에 대해 우리가 알 수 있겠습니까?20 You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean.”당신이 우리 귀에 생소한 것들을 전하니 우리가 그 뜻을 좀 알고 싶습니다.” 21 (All the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas.)모든 아테네 사람들과 거기 사는 외국 사람들은 보다 새로운 것을 말하거나 듣는 일에 시간을 쏟던 사람들이었습니다.
22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. 그러자 바울이 아레오바고 광장 가운데 서서 말했습니다. “아테네 시민들이여! 내가 보니 여러분은 여러모로 매우 종교적인 사람들입니다.23 For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.내가 두루 다니면서 여러분이 무엇을 섬기는지 자세히 살펴보다가 ‘알지 못하는 신에게’라고 새긴 제단도 보게 됐습니다. 이제 여러분이 알지도 못하고 예배해 온 그 신을 내가 여러분에게 전하고자 합니다.

In Thessalonica

17 When Paul and his companions had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.바울과 실라는 암비볼리와 아볼로니아를 거쳐 데살로니가에 이르렀습니다. 거기에는 유대 사람의 회당이 있었습니다. 2 As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures,바울은 늘 하던 대로 회당에 들어가 3주 동안 안식일마다 성경에 대해 사람들과 토론했습니다 3 explaining and proving that the Messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead. “This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Messiah,” he said.그리스도가 고난을 받은 후 죽은 사람들 가운데서 살아나셔야 했던 것을 설명하고 증명하며 말했습니다. 그리고 “내가 여러분에게 선포하는 이 예수가 바로 그리스도이십니다”라고 전했습니다. 4 Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of God-fearing Greeks and quite a few prominent women.몇몇 유대 사람들은 그 말에 설득돼 바울과 실라를 따랐고 하나님을 경외하는 많은 그리스 사람들과 적지 않은 귀부인들도 그들의 말을 믿게 됐습니다.
5 But other Jews were jealous; so they rounded up some bad characters from the marketplace, formed a mob and started a riot in the city. They rushed to Jason’s house in search of Paul and Silas in order to bring them out to the crowd.그러자 유대 사람들에게 시기가 일어났습니다. 그래서 시장의 불량배들을 끌어모아 떼를 지어 도시 안에 소동을 일으켰습니다. 그들은 바울과 실라를 찾아 사람들 앞에 끌어내려고 야손의 집으로 쳐들어갔습니다.[a] 6 But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some other believers before the city officials, shouting: “These men who have caused trouble all over the world have now come here,그러나 그들을 찾지 못하자 야손과 다른 형제들을 그 도시의 관원들 앞에 끌고 와 소리치며 말했습니다. “세상을 온통 시끄럽게 하는 사람들이 이곳에도 왔는데 7 and Jason has welcomed them into his house. They are all defying Caesar’s decrees, saying that there is another king, one called Jesus.” 야손이 그들을 자기 집에 들였습니다. 그들은 모두 가이사의 칙령을 거역하며 예수라는 다른 왕이 있다고 말합니다.”8 When they heard this, the crowd and the city officials were thrown into turmoil.이 말을 듣고 사람들과 그 도시의 당국자들은 당황했습니다 9 Then they made Jason and the others post bond and let them go.그러나 당국자들은 야손과 다른 신자들로부터 보석금을 받고 그들을 놓아주었습니다

In Berea

10 As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue.밤이 되자마자 형제들은 바울과 실라를 베뢰아로 보냈습니다. 그들은 그곳에 도착하자 유대 사람의 회당으로 들어갔습니다 11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 베뢰아 사람들은 데살로니가 사람들보다 교양 있는 사람들이어서 말씀을 간절한 마음으로 받아들이고 바울이 말한 것이 사실인지 알아보려고 날마다 성경을 찾아보았습니다. 12 As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.그래서 그들 가운데 많은 유대 사람들이 믿게 됐고 적지 않은 그리스 귀부인들과 많은 그리스 남자들도 믿게 됐습니다.
13 But when the Jews in Thessalonica learned that Paul was preaching the word of God at Berea, some of them went there too, agitating the crowds and stirring them up.데살로니가에 있는 유대 사람들은 바울이 베뢰아에서 하나님의 말씀을 전한다는 것을 알고 그곳에 또 나타나 사람들을 선동해 소동을 일으켰습니다. 14 The believers immediately sent Paul to the coast, but Silas and Timothy stayed at Berea.그러자 형제들은 즉시 바울을 바닷가로 보냈습니다. 그러나 실라와 디모데는 베뢰아에 그대로 남아 있었습니다. 15 Those who escorted Paul brought him to Athens and then left with instructions for Silas and Timothy to join him as soon as possible.바울을 수행하던 사람들은 그를 아테네까지 인도했습니다. 그들은 실라와 디모데도 속히 자기에게 데려오라는 바울의 지시를 받고 돌아갔습니다.

19 When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities. 여종의 주인들은 자기 수익의 소망이 끊어진 것을 보고 바울과 실라를 붙잡아 장터로 관리들에게 끌어 갔다가 20 They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar 상관들 앞에 데리고 가서 말하되 이 사람들이 유대인인데 우리 성을 심히 요란하게 하여 21 by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice. 로마 사람인 우리가 받지도 못하고 행하지도 못할 풍속을 전한다 하거늘”
22 The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. 무리가 일제히 일어나 고발하니 상관들이 옷을 찢어 벗기고 매로 치라 하여23 After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. 많이 친 후에 옥에 가두고 간수에게 명하여 든든히 지키라 하니24 When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.그가 이러한 명령을 받아 그들을 깊은 옥에 가두고 그 발을 차꼬에 든든히 채웠더니
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.한밤중에 바울과 실라가 기도하고 하나님을 찬송하매 죄수들이 듣더라 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.이에 갑자기 큰 지진이 나서 옥터가 움직이고 문이 곧 다 열리며 모든 사람의 매인 것이 다 벗어진지라 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped.간수가 자다가 깨어 옥문들이 열린 것을 보고 죄수들이 도망한 줄 생각하고 칼을 빼어 자결하려 하거늘 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”바울이 크게 소리 질러 이르되 네 몸을 상하지 말라 우리가 다 여기 있노라 하니
29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas.간수가 등불을 달라고 하며 뛰어 들어가 무서워 떨며 바울과 실라 앞에 엎드리고30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”그들을 데리고 나가 이르되 선생들이여 내가 어떻게 하여야 구원을 받으리이까 하거늘
31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 이르되 주 예수를 믿으라 그리하면 너와 네 집이 구원을 받으리라 하고32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 주의 말씀을 그 사람과 그 집에 있는 모든 사람에게 전하더라33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized.그 밤 그 시각에 간수가 그들을 데려다가 그 맞은 자리를 씻어 주고 자기와 그 온 가족이 다 세례를 받은 그들을 데리고 자기 집에 올라가서 음식을 차려 주고 그와 온 집안이 하나님을 믿으므로 크게 기뻐하니라
