사무엘하 7-12

Chapter 7

• 1-17 나단이 계시대로 다윗에게 말하다 (God’s Promise to David)

  12.	When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.네 수한이 차서 네 조상들과 함께 누울 때에 내가 네 몸에서 날 네 씨를 네 뒤에 세워 그의 나라를 견고하게 하리라

  13.	He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.그는 내 이름을 위하여 집을 건축할 것이요 나는 그의 나라 왕위를 영원히 견고하게 하리라

• 18-29 다윗의 기도 (David’s Prayer)

  22.	"How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.그런즉 주 여호와여 이러므로 주는 위대하시니 이는 우리 귀로 들은 대로는 주와 같은 이가 없고 주 외에는 신이 없음이니이다

  29.	Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O Sovereign LORD, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever."이제 청하건대 종의 집에 복을 주사 주 앞에 영원히 있게 하옵소서 주 여호와께서 말씀하셨사오니 주의 종의 집이 영원히 복을 받게 하옵소서 하니라

Chapter 8

• 1-18 다윗이 어디로 가든지 이기다 (David’s Victories)

  14.	He put garrisons throughout Edom, and all the Edomites became subject to David. The LORD gave David victory wherever he went. 다윗이 에돔에 수비대를 두되 온 에돔에 수비대를 두니 에돔 사람이 다 다윗의 종이 되니라 다윗이 어디로 가든지 여호와께서 이기게 하셨더라

• 15-18 다윗의 장관들 (David’s Officials)

  16.	Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was recorder;스루야의 아들 요압은 군사령관이 되고 아힐룻의 아들 여호사밧은 사관이 되고

  17.	Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech son of Abiathar were priests; Seraiah was secretary; 아히둡의 아들 사독과 아비아달의 아들 아히멜렉은 제사장이 되고 스라야는 서기관이 되고

  18.	Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Kerethites and Pelethites; and David's sons were royal advisers.여호야다의 아들 브나야는 그렛 사람과 블렛 사람을 관할하고 다윗의 아들들은 대신들이 되니라

Chapter 9

• 1-13 다윗과 므비보셋 (David and Mephibosheth)

  6.	When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor. David said, "Mephibosheth!" "Your servant," he replied. 사울의 손자 요나단의 아들 므비보셋이 다윗에게 나아와 그 앞에 엎드려 절하매 다윗이 이르되 므비보셋이여 하니 그가 이르기를 보소서 당신의 종이니이다

  7.

  "Don't be afraid," David said to him, "for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table." 다윗이 그에게 이르되 무서워하지 말라 내가 반드시 네 아버지 요나단으로 말미암아 네게 은총을 베풀리라 내가 네 할아버지 사울의 모든 밭을 다 네게 도로 주겠고 또 너는 항상 내 상에서 떡을 먹을지니라 하니

Chapter 10

• 1-19 다윗이 암몬을 물리치다 (David Defeats the Ammonites)

  the Ammonite nobles said to Hanun their lord, "Do you think David is honoring your father by sending men to you to express sympathy? Hasn't David sent them to you to explore the city and spy it out and overthrow it?"암몬 자손의 관리들이 그들의 주 하눈에게 말하되 왕은 다윗이 조객을 당신에게 보낸 것이 왕의 아버지를 공경함인 줄로 여기시나이까 다윗이 그의 신하들을 당신에게 보내 이 성을 엿보고 탐지하여 함락시키고자 함이 아니니이까 하니

  4.	So Hanun seized David's men, shaved off half of each man's beard, cut off their garments in the middle at the buttocks, and sent them away.이에 하눈이 다윗의 신하들을 잡아 그들의 수염 절반을 깎고 그들의 의복의 중동볼기까지 자르고 돌려보내매

  When the Ammonites realized that they had become a stench in David's nostrils, they hired twenty thousand Aramean foot soldiers from Beth Rehob and Zobah, as well as the king of Maacah with a thousand men, and also twelve thousand men from Tob.암몬 자손들이 자기들이 다윗에게 미움이 된 줄 알고 암몬 자손들이 사람을 보내 벧르홉 아람 사람과 소바 아람 사람의 보병 이만 명과 마아가 왕과 그의 사람 천 명과 돕 사람 만 이천 명을 고용한지라

  18.	But they fled before Israel, and David killed seven hundred of their charioteers and forty thousand of their foot soldiers. He also struck down Shobach the commander of their army, and he died there.아람 사람이 이스라엘 앞에서 도망한지라 다윗이 아람 병거 칠백 대와 마병 사만 명을 죽이고 또 그 군사령관 소박을 치매 거기서 죽으니라

  19.

  When all the kings who were vassals of Hadadezer saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they made peace with the Israelites and became subject to them. So the Arameans were afraid to help the Ammonites anymore.하닷에셀에게 속한 왕들이 자기가 이스라엘 앞에서 패함을 보고 이스라엘과 화친하고 섬기니 그러므로 아람 사람들이 두려워하여 다시는 암몬 자손을 돕지 아니하니라

Chapter 11

• 1-27 다윗과 밧세바 (David and Bathsheba)

  2.	One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful,저녁 때에 다윗이 그의 침상에서 일어나 왕궁 옥상에서 거닐다가 그 곳에서 보니 한 여인이 목욕을 하는데 심히 아름다워 보이는지라

  4.	Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (She had purified herself from her uncleanness.) Then she went back home.다윗이 전령을 보내어 그 여자를 자기에게로 데려오게 하고 그 여자가 그 부정함을 깨끗하게 하였으므로 더불어 동침하매 그 여자가 자기 집으로 돌아가니라

  15.	In it he wrote, "Put Uriah in the front line where the fighting is fiercest. Then withdraw from him so he will be struck down and die."그 편지에 써서 이르기를 너희가 우리아를 맹렬한 싸움에 앞세워 두고 너희는 뒤로 물러가서 그로 맞아 죽게 하라 하였더라

  24.	Then the archers shot arrows at your servants from the wall, and some of the king's men died. Moreover, your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead."활 쏘는 자들이 성 위에서 왕의 부하들을 향하여 쏘매 왕의 부하 중 몇 사람이 죽고 왕의 종 헷 사람 우리아도 죽었나이다 하니

  27.	After the time of mourning was over, David had her brought to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing David had done displeased the LORD그 장례를 마치매 다윗이 사람을 보내 그를 왕궁으로 데려오니 그가 그의 아내가 되어 그에게 아들을 낳으니라 다윗이 행한 그 일이 여호와 보시기에 악하였더라

Chapter 12

• 1-31 나단의 책망 (Nathan Rebukes David)

  1.	The LORD sent Nathan to David. When he came to him, he said, "There were two men in a certain town, one rich and the other poor. 여호와께서 나단을 다윗에게 보내시니 그가 다윗에게 가서 그에게 이르되 한 성읍에 두 사람이 있는데 한 사람은 부하고 한 사람은 가난하니

  7.	Then Nathan said to David, "You are the man! This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: `I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul.나단이 다윗에게 이르되 당신이 그 사람이라 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이와 같이 이르시기를 내가 너를 이스라엘 왕으로 기름 붓기 위하여 너를 사울의 손에서 구원하고

  18.

  On the seventh day the child died. David's servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they thought, "While the child was still living, we spoke to David but he would not listen to us. How can we tell him the child is dead? He may do something desperate이레 만에 그 아이가 죽으니라 그러나 다윗의 신하들이 아이가 죽은 것을 왕에게 아뢰기를 두려워하니 이는 그들이 말하기를 아이가 살았을 때에 우리가 그에게 말하여도 왕이 그 말을 듣지 아니하셨나니 어떻게 그 아이가 죽은 것을 그에게 아뢸 수 있으랴 왕이 상심하시리로다 함이라

  24.	Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba, and he went to her and lay with her. She gave birth to a son, and they named him Solomon. The LORD loved him다윗이 그의 아내 밧세바를 위로하고 그에게 들어가 그와 동침하였더니 그가 아들을 낳으매 그의 이름을 솔로몬이라 하니라 여호와께서 그를 사랑하사

  26.	Meanwhile Joab fought against Rabbah of the Ammonites and captured the royal citadel.요압이 암몬 자손의 랍바를 쳐서 그 왕성을 점령하매
