시편 106:34-48

죄의 올무에 스스로 빠진 어리석은 인생의 소망

• 우상 숭배에 빠진 이스라엘 106:34~43

• 34
• 그들은 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 이방 민족들을 멸망시키지 않았고 
•             They did not destroy the peoples,  as the Lord commanded them,

• 35
• 오히려 그 민족들과 섞여 그들의 관습을 배우고 
•             but they mixed with the nations and learned to do as they did.

• 36
• 그들의 우상들을 경배했으니 그것이 그들에게 덫이 되고 말았습니다.They served their idols,
      which became a snare to them.

• 37
• 심지어는 자기 아들딸들을 귀신들에게 제물로 바쳤고 They sacrificed their sons
      and their daughters to the demons;

• 38
• 죄 없는 피, 곧 가나안의 우상들에게 자기 아들들과 딸들을 바쳐 피를 흘리니 그 땅이 온통 피로 얼룩지고 말았습니다. they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,  and the land was polluted with blood.

• 39
• 이렇게 그들은 스스로를 더럽혔고 자기들이 만든 것들로 음행했습니다. 
•             Thus they became unclean by their acts, and played the whore in their deeds.

• 40
• 그러므로 여호와의 진노가 그 백성들을 향해 불이 붙어 선택하신 백성을 미워하시기까지 하신 것입니다. Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people,  and he abhorred his heritage;

• 41
• 그분은 그들을 이방 민족들의 손에 내어 주셔서 그들을 미워하는 사람들의 지배를 받게 하셨습니다. he gave them into the hand of the nations,  so that those who hated them ruled over them.

• 42
• 적들이 그들을 억압해 결국 그 손 아래에 굴복시켰습니다. Their enemies oppressed them,  and they were brought into subjection under their power

• 43
• 하나님께서 여러 번에 걸쳐 그들을 건져 내셨으나 그들은 자기들의 생각대로 행동해 그분의 진노를 샀고 결국 자기들의 죄악 때문에 낮아지게 됐습니다. Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity.

• 우리 하나님이여, 우리를 구원하소서! 106:44~48

• 44
• 그러나 하나님께서는 그들의 부르짖음을 들으시고 그 고통을 돌아보셨고 Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry.

• 45
• 그들을 위해 그분의 언약을 기억하시고 그 엄청난 인자하심에 따라 마음을 돌이켜 For their sake he remembered his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love.

• 46
• 그들을 사로잡아 간 모든 사람들이 그들을 불쌍히 여기게 하셨습니다. He caused them to be pitied by all those who held them captive.

• 47
• 오 여호와 우리 하나님이여, 우리를 구원하시고 이방 민족들 가운데서 우리를 모으시어 주의 거룩한 이름에 감사를 드리고 주를 찬양하는 것을 자랑하게 하소서. Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.

• 48
• 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 영원에서 영원까지 찬양하라. 모든 백성들은 “아멘!” 하라. 여호와를 찬양하라. Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!”  Praise the Lord!
